People die at the end of Norse plays because this is a mirrorring of the destruction of Valhalla. Here all the gods dies as well due to the mischief of Loki. While this may sound bad, it is important to remember that from the dead body of Odin sprang the tree of humanity. Without Odin's death, humanity would not be and it is humanity's task to redeem Odin's death. It is interesting because in Norse plays, the heroes die. Just as Odin did. From their death springs a better condition that is now transformed by the good deeds of those who die. It is an interesting percursor to the death and resurrection of Christ..

will give St. John's a thought.

Hey Raph,

I want to know why people die at the end of Norse plays! It would be nice for you to send in a piece or two from time to time :). St. John's Tide is coming up...he he. Hint. Hint. Photo contributions would be good, too. See you soon!

Hi Panjee,

Nice idea. If you need help on any of the stuff, Lormie and I are happy to assist.

Maybe there should be a Waldorf dad's blog for all of us clueless fathers who wonder why people die at the end of Norse plays... :-)
